System Updates
May 27, 2020

It will now be possible to view and answer questionnaires from Trippus eventapp. Useful in many ways. Especially when using the questionnaire to interact with your participants with Trippus On Site Interaction. No need to send the questions out by SMS anymore. Just activate the questions in the eventapp! A new settings tab is implemented in admin for Trippus event app and you choose which of your questionnaires you want to be displayed in the app.

By doing that a button named Questionnaire will be activated in the event app.

————————

Clearer display of which Activities has missing translations

If you want to have your event registrations in several languages it’s possible to do translations in Trippus event admin.
You have to start with translating the name of a Participant category.

After that you have to translate everything that should be displayed in the registrations for both languages.
It used to be a bit tricky to know which activities that were missing translation (which caused an error message in the registration). After the coming release it will be much easier to see which activities that has missing translations.
You will display this at the Home-page / Create/edit element /Activities
An exclamation mark in orange will be visible if the activity is missing a translation
An exclamation mark in blue will be visible if the activity has choices which are not translated.
You can hoover over the exclamation marks to see which language(s) that has no translation.

New Guidelines.
Better Experience.

In the ever-changing world of digital communication, major email domain providers are gearing up to introduce a new set of email authentication standards requirements in February 2024. These requirements aim to enrich user experience, fortify against spam, and enhance the overall security of email communications.

To begin with, domains like Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL will implement these changes, and we anticipate more providers will follow shortly.

Your communication. Our responsibility.

Reach your intended audience with your email communication in a safe and GDPR-compliant way!

Rules advanced anti-spam features integrated into Trippus Event Solutions offer a “certificate”, allowing you to relax that your emails reaches your audience without interference.

Let's introduce Rule. It Rules!

In line with these new email requirements, Trippus is partnering with a leading Swedish email provider. Rule is fully compliant with GDPR standards. If this interests you, please don't hesitate to reach out to your dedicated sales representative or contact us at sales@trippus.com.

This is what you got to do

If you are using noreply@event.trippus.com, we have already ensured the use of all three protocols mentioned below; these changes won’t impact you.

However, if you are using a domain other than @event.trippus.com, we strongly suggest configuring DKIM and DMARC for that domain.

What are the Email Standards?

3 key protocols to keep an eye on: SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

SPF

SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework and specifies authorized mail servers.

DKIM

DKIM is short for DomainKeys Identified Mail and it uses cryptographic signatures for sender domain authenticity.

DMARC

DMARC is an abbreviation Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance and it sets policies and provides reporting mechanisms.
