All system updates

Profile View Design in Event App

The profile view in the event app has been updated with a refreshed design, offering a more modern and user-friendly layout for participants.

Redesigned “Select Interest Areas” Window

The Select Interest Areas window has been redesigned with a more modern and visually appealing look. This update improves usability and creates a smoother, more engaging experience for participants when selecting their areas of interest.

Waiting List Closure Requirement

The waiting list now requires a closing date to be set on the web or registration, in order to properly close the waiting list functionality. This ensures that the waiting list can be automatically closed when needed.

Conditional Visibility for E-address Field

Customers can now control which delivery methods they want to support for each payment client.

The E-address field in the registration payment step is now only displayed under the correct conditions:

  • The payment client’s invoice provider is Billecta
  • E-invoice is selected as the delivery option.

When a company is chosen during registration, the E-address field will only be visible if these criteria are met.

Scheduled Emails via Flex settings

Scheduled emails configured via Flex settings > Email settings > Configure message to be sent at user registration previously went only to the main booker. This has now been updated so that the emails are sent to allparticipants.

Consent Field in Custom Reports

You can now add, remove, and view the “Consent to appear in the participant list” field in custom reports.

Standard Fields in Badge Creator

Our new standard fields (title, Bio, LinkedIn) are now available in the Badge Creator and display correctly when generating badges.

Custom Report Naming

Custom reports now display the report name prominently on the page and in the browser title. Additionally, when exporting to Excel, the file name is automatically updated to include the report name and current date in the format: webname_reportname_currentdate.xlsx

Bug fixes

Error When Unregistering Booker with Profile Image
Bookers with profile images can now unregister without encountering an error page.

Participant List Consent Text
Edits to participant list consent text in Word for Web now correctly update the displayed text.

Attest Report in Excel
Attest report now exports correctly to Excel with all information displayed.

Booking Deleted Webhooks
Webhooks for deleted bookings now execute correctly without exceptions.

Duplicate Coupon Consumption
Tickets can no longer be consumed multiple times from the same coupon opened in multiple tabs.

Other various small bugs that are optimized/fixed

New Guidelines.
Better Experience.

In the ever-changing world of digital communication, major email domain providers are gearing up to introduce a new set of email authentication standards requirements in February 2024. These requirements aim to enrich user experience, fortify against spam, and enhance the overall security of email communications.

To begin with, domains like Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL will implement these changes, and we anticipate more providers will follow shortly.

This is what you got to do

If you are using noreply@event.trippus.com, we have already ensured the use of all three protocols mentioned below; these changes won’t impact you.

However, if you are using a domain other than @event.trippus.com, we strongly suggest configuring DKIM and DMARC for that domain.

What are the Email Standards?

3 key protocols to keep an eye on: SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

SPF

SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework and specifies authorized mail servers.

DKIM

DKIM is short for DomainKeys Identified Mail and it uses cryptographic signatures for sender domain authenticity.

DMARC

DMARC is an abbreviation Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance and it sets policies and provides reporting mechanisms.
