Enhanced features for on-site interaction

System Updates
13 October, 2023

What is the on-site interaction feature?

On-site interaction is where Trippus users can set up flows, gather answers, hide and show questions, create polls and see the results as the data is collected in real-time.

What is new?

With the update, moderators are now allowed to activate multiple interaction tracks all at once. This gives the moderator the ability to ask questions to the crowd and vice versa with the participants asking questions through the event app rather than by shouting it out. The event organizers is able to seamlessly gather data and feedback from audiences across parellel tracks.

  • Add multiple tracks for on-site interaction.
  • Enhanced control of the interaction flow.
  • Participants can easily choose between the flows in the event app.
The enhanced feature also improves the participants experience. From the event app they can easily select the tracks that are relevant to them.

How to use it

It is very simple to get started with the updated interaction feature. Find “On-Site Interaction” in the menu on the left and then click on it. Now you can add multiple tracks and name them accordingly. Open a track and from here you are able to create surveys, show and hide questions, control the flow and much more.

It is easy to setup the flow and switch on and off the settings within to fit the event.

You can activate and inactive the flow, decide whether to present data from different types and much more.

New Guidelines.
Better Experience.

These requirements aim to enrich user experience, fortify against spam, and enhance the overall security of email communications.

To begin with, domains like Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL will implement these changes, and we anticipate more providers will follow shortly.

This is what you got to do

If you are using noreply@event.trippus.com, we have already ensured the use of all three protocols mentioned below; these changes won’t impact you.

However, if you are using a domain other than @event.trippus.com, we strongly suggest configuring DKIM and DMARC for that domain.

What are the Email Standards?

3 key protocols to keep an eye on: SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

SPF

SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework and specifies authorized mail servers.

DKIM

DKIM is short for DomainKeys Identified Mail and it uses cryptographic signatures for sender domain authenticity.

DMARC

DMARC is an abbreviation Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance and it sets policies and provides reporting mechanisms.
